The Intellectual Heart of the University
IUBAT Central Library is Bangladesh's first private university library completely automated by KOHA, spanning over 18,000 square feet.
Serving as a cornerstone of knowledge and community participation, the library offers a diverse range of printed and online resources. With printed collections of 41,000 materials and over 81,000 online e-resources, we support the university's teaching and research activities. Approximately 2,000 users utilize the library daily using barcode-printed ID cards.

Conduct & Environment
- Silent Mood: Conversations and discussions are not permitted.
- Phones: Mobile use and talking on phones are strictly prohibited.
- Food: Eating and drinking are prohibited in reading areas.
- Care: Do not tear, underline, or mark library books.
Access & Policy
- Entry: Users must punch a valid ID card before entering.
- Personal Items: Not allowed inside the Central Library.
- Copyright: Photocopying entire textbooks is prohibited.
- Refusal: Librarian reserves the right to withdraw services for rule refusal.

Membership
Users must be registered to access physical and remote services.
Dress & Behavior Code
Language: English is the first language of IUBAT; users must communicate in English.
Attire: Students must maintain the IUBAT dress code to enter the library.
